Of course Sequoia wouldn't want Appel to release his results: Appel's conclusions don't exactly heap praise on voting machines. But in a democracy, it's important that people know the flaws in their voting systems, and I respect that Appel had the guts to go public before Nov. 4th and face the legal ramifications.

This article, which is apparently based on a press release from Sequoia Voting Systems, contains several errors of fact. I did not violate the Protective Order, I was not ordered to apologized to Sequoia, and I did not apologize to Sequoia. For more information, see this link:
