The terrorist attack in Mumbai is a terrible tragedy and my heart goes out to the families of all of the victims.
I have met Chabad couples at several different Chabad houses in the last several years and while I did not know the Holtzbergs personally, I feel as if I did know them through the Chabad families I have met in the U.S. These young people commit themselves to a life in a new community -- this couple did so in an entirely different continent -- to serve the Jewish people. They were murdered for it. This is a tragedy that becomes very personal.
