    electronic access to these scientific journals isn't exclusive to the empty ugly building called the Lewis Library. shame on ex-scientist Shirley for not commenting how the money could have been better used for scientific research rather than a university ego-trip.

    Congratulations to Frank Gehry; see, the "traditional" definition of a library is: "a building that holds books". But Frank doesn't go along just to get along - instead, he takes $60 million and builds a library that actually doesn't hold any books! Way to go! (in case you were looking for the books, there's a tunnel in the basement that leads back to the old library).

    This is one of the most bizarre moves to date by this administration. I'm a bit surprised that Shapiro got mixed up in this waste of money and real estate.
