Dear Prince headline writers, you might wish to consider that "arts" and "liberal arts" refer to two very different sets of disciplines. The "arts" -- that is, the creative and performing arts -- are a small subset of the "liberal arts," the scholarly disciplines thought of as broadening the mind in preparation for free citizenship.
Although it wasn't emphasized in the article, several of the students in the program were interested in combining engineering with the visual arts or music, so the headline is indeed suitably inclusive.
