University researchers have discovered a molecular mechanism that may play a determining role in an organism’s evolution, according to a recent study that examined the evolution of proteins in the electron transport chain (ETC).

Evolution is a dead theory.
There are 100 million fossils which show that animals which lived hundreds of million years ago are exactly the same as their current counterparts. This is clear evidence "against evolution."
Also, natural selection does not have the capacity to change the genetic code on the DNA. The rabbits may run faster, and survive but they do not turn out to be other "more advanced" and "advantageous" creature because their DNA code is not effected. They die in the end along with their faster running legs. Lamarckism is already an outdated theory.
Therefore, creation is a fact, evolution could not have happened. Besides, no graduation can explain the irreducible complexity in for instance body organs. Think of the blood, if all blood cells had presumably evolved without the hemoglobin molecule inside, what use? If the stomach did not have the protective tissue to prevent destroying itself due to hydrocholoric acid, what use? If all organs were there but you could not breathe with your lungs and the oxygen was not transferred to each one of your cells, what use?
Please think once again before you decide. Evolution - really did not happen, cannot have happened - there is no evidence, no mechanism. But all findings and science indeed show that there is an anthropic principle behind the universe with incredibly fine tuned quarks in the atom, nuclear power in the nucleus of the atom, 3 billion lettered vast library with immense information in the DNA.
Who encoded the DNA?
Who made the quarks in the atom?
Who set the oxygen in the atmosphere just in the right ratio so that we are not burnt to death?
Who mixed water - soil and minerals to bring out thousands of vegetation and fruit with wonderful tastes and scents right from the dark earth?
God is the Creator of every detail that we see in this universe, and we will see the intelligence and wisdom behind each and every created thing if we look with an open eye (heart).
Steven, it seems as though you are a true bible thumper
but I'll give you some slack
considering I tend to agree with the quark/ fossil
thing that you said.
however I would like to point out that those
speedy little bunnies reproduced and passed the speedy gene down the line.
a good example of this would be the nurse sharks
around Bikini Island.
now those kind of examples don't prove a big differences
but there is a difference and tech. it is a new species..
what the article was talking about was protiens that we eat and how it is possible to UP our genetic code
(vice versa- we could screw it up like we did with the "now proven" FAT gene)
the protien thing I think they are trying to hit on
is the fact that scientists are literally changing stem cells into things like skin, muscle, etc. just by using certain "foods" and if we can change cells with "food"
then what could we do to our entire bodies when WE eat?
here is something i'd like to point out as well
-even to some of the most extreme extents
we can still consider people "HUMAN" even if they are
genetic "freaks"
ex: tran-sexuals, hypertrichosis people, & Porphyria people
they all have the same skeletal structure yet if you saw them you would at bottom line least get a stir
in your stomach.
and how would micro evolution impact our society anyway?
there's a muscle in the skull that controls brain growth
-what if that was tainted because of our eating habits?
-what if we taint our metabolism because of our eating?
-what if we started giving birth to children using
less or double the normal gravity of the earth?
my point is, small changes (even in the spyche)
can have great effects on society and we may not even notice before it's too late.
so I honestly can care less about the evolution argument
but the facts of micro evolution are a true threat or chance for us "humans"
PS- craw fish can live up to 40-50yrs in a cave
while their' cousins live for 3yrs out of a cave.
