Women's Soccer: NCAA run ends with 2-1 defeat

    This loss was even more tragic than described. Goalkeeper extraoordinaire, Ali Pont, suffered a bad concussion (a kick to the head, I've heard) when she came out to make that save at 9:43. West Virginia's first goal came after that, at 10:20. Ali continued to play until 22:41, when her injury was recognized (by others) and she was replaced. Ali's injury was such that she had to be hospitalized that night. Thankfully, she seems to be recovering well.
