Princeton students shouldn't lecture anyone on the economy
Regarding "Coan '09: McCain can't handle economy," (Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008)
I find it a great irony that in the midst of a financial crisis caused largely by the irresposible ...

James Coan had nothing to do with the current market failures, so I'm not sure what Dan thinks is so ironic. This is clearly a guilt by association tactic used by someone who can't refute Coan's point--that McCain is ill equipped to understand, much less solve, the nation's economic problems.
Um..there is a shuttle that goes from the Dinky Station to the Equad.

I completely agree, Nevermore.
Dan, James didn't go to the future, mess up, and come back! He is a Princeton student just like the rest of us. Basically, your letter implies that we cannot critique situations that we might, by virtue of being Princeton students, be put in in the future. So, I can never critique politics or write a restaurant review, because a lot of Princetonians are in politics and a lot of Princeton grads start restaurants.
THIS LETTER IS GREAT. It reveals the true desperate, say-anything nature of the Republican. Who's trying to use "gotcha journalism" now?
Don't forget that there are two contenders in the presidential election. Show me how Barack Obama is competent enough to fix our economic problems. Where's the evidence that he has the ability? Just because he reads his party line through a teleprompter, doesn't mean he knows what the heck he's talking about. What a complete travesty. Keep in mind, too, that it's democrats like Barney Frank and Reid that are to blame for the economic crisis...up until recently, they touted Fannie and Freddie as "sound," and Obama has a key Fannie player on his advisory board.
The new bus route was postponed because the University's plan involved eliminating the heavily used Green Line shuttle that takes graduate students from their housing to campus. Graduate students were understandably not thrilled with this idea. The University is working on a new plan that will hopefully serve both graduate and undergraduate needs.
If you really think Forbes is an interminably long walk to the EQuad, Mr. Jawaid, I suggest trying out the walk from the Graduate College or the Lawrence apartments on some windy, freezing December day. When I lived at the GC, I would walk by Forbes and wistfully think about how wonderful it would be to live so close to campus!
You call New Jersey cold and a walk to the EQuad long? You people are lucky you have shoes, let alone sidewalks to walk on in them.
MEvL for President!
Fools, both Obama and McCain know jack squat about the economy.
Bob Barr '08!
did someone in St. Pete steal MEvL's shoes?
