ORFE building named for Sherrerd ’52

    Jay Sherrerd '52 was one of the great Princetonians: loyal, generous, thoughtful, supportive but critical. Years ago, I jokingly said that the reason Princeton became involved in Molecular Biology was to enable us to clone him. And for years, he made significant gifts to Princeton but never in his name, rather to honor other classmates, friends, or family.
