    Quad messed up

Money will come from the USG for this? No bailing out quad for their clear mistakes. They've had this privilege for years, and shouldn't be off the hook for an obvious mistake.

    Screw the Borough

Why are we giving money to the Borough Brownshirts? So they can arrest more Club presidents for cases where the witnesses don't show up?

Why did they need extra borough police? It's not as if Princeton students at lawnparties do anything bad that the campus police can't handle. Police don't need to supervise everything. This isn't New Haven.

If they didn't have a permit, the po-po should have shut down the concert. End of story.

This seems like a non-story. The Quad officers made a mistake...that happens. I'm sure they had a million things going to prepare for this event, and forgot one of the details. The Boro Police really did a positive thing by stepping up and making sure there was a presence for this enormous gathering of people. Kudos to them for that...and it's not unreasonable for them to expect some compensation in return. Good for the University / Clubs for acknowledging their mistake and the importance of giving the police their due. I'm confused...is this a positive article or a negative one?

Maybe the borough keystone kops should start reimbursing all
of the students they have mistakenly arrested. Maybe the U
should show some backbone and tell the kops to stop harrassing
    The Street.

It appears some folks don't like that they're not given special treatment by the Borough PD just because they are Princeton students. Deal with it.
