THIS is quintessentially Princeton - the male athlete of the year gets the blurb and big headline on the Prince homepage, and the female athlete of the year is relegated to the small headline that fewer people will read. Diana worked just as hard as Mike did this year.
Wait for the print edition before flaming the Prince--- the disparity on the website is a limitation of the website's design.
P '09- Your qualm is not without merit, but the fault lies in the homepage design, which only allows a certain number of big headlines. No one doubts how hard Diana worked (indeed, one might make the same case for Mike had the order been switched), nor is anyone trying to downplay her accomplishments. You'll notice the print edition has them displayed equally. Nevertheless, the order we put the articles on the website is not based on some male preference, as you imply. (After all, the writer of Mike's piece was female, and Diana's, male.)

I would rather read the male athlete of year
Feminists... what would we do without them?
