I have to say this is ridiculous. I don't know if Dean Malkiel grade-deflated this survey too, but something isn't right. Terrace has vegetarian entrees, sides, deserts, soups and a salad bar with every meal. You might not like the food(=love, D=notlove) but it's just wrong to say there isn't a wide variety of vegetarian options. As a vegetarian in Terrace, I can attest to this fact. I don't eat meat for ethical reasons and PAWS still annoys me to no end. Ridiculous in-your-face holier-than though protests are one thing; but if you're going to rehash hackneyed stereotypes about the eating clubs (“tree-hugging hippies") at least try to be funny.

    Hmm

The thing is people at Terrace are usually too toked up to get a real sense of the food there.

Oh, go throw some red paint on a fur coat or something, PAWS. Or even better - go eat some meat.

Jon I assume that since your avoiding the meat (and fish of course right) for ethical reasons I'm sure you're also avoiding the equally-disastrously-produced milk and eggs right? Have you even once tried eating vegan at Terrace... it blows. PAWS may say vegetarian but really they largely mean vegan (which is also known as strict vegetarianism).

    What Gives

I wish the Prince would actually give the rankings of the other clubs. Not everyone cares just about Terrace and Tower.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat?

Is there a link to the full report? And if so, could someone post it?

I know...what silly and terrible editing. TI is in the headline and not even once mentioned in the article! What kind of news is this? Scholastic.

Anyone can request a free copy of the report by emailing animals@princeton.edu. The results will also be published online when our website is launched in a few days at www.princeton.edu/~animals.
We hope we didn’t offend any clubs with our ratings or comments. We do believe we represented each clubs’ food as accurately as possible, but we are, of course, happy to hear from any clubs that feel we did a bad job so we can correct our mistakes for future editions. As Jon Feyer (Terrace president) graciously noted, PAWS did try to set the bar high because there is always room for improvement.
As for PAWS’ tactics, we have a wide variety of events and projects, most of which do not involve blood or nudity of any sort—it’s just that those are the ones you’re most likely to notice. We invite you to check out our more subdued events as well, most of which involve delicious free food…

Call me a food snob, but I'm sick of the *normal* food at terrace. I can't imagine what it would be like to try to scrounge together a healthful and filling veg meal at terrace given the options. But we get what we pay for, right guys? I still food terrace, though!
