Jr- I honestly don't know. I think that, when Josh made clear that students were ready to riot over the Spelman and Wright decisions, the U. definitely changed a little bit then. I also think that when almost every undergrad threw a fit over the alcohol policy changes, that got people's attention. So I think that yes, it's possible but unlikely that the U. will consistently listen, but I also think that this requires a level of persistent commitment on both sides that isn't always or even usually there.

Barry, hit the nail on the head again. its really kind of depressing. i do have one question for you -- if the usg did stand up for the student body in aggressive ways, would the administration even listen? i sometimes feel like no matter how competent or incompetent the usg officers are that nassau hall will say thanks for your opinion and do whatever they feel like anyway.
