Since this is the second incident over the past several months
involving this gang that I'm aware of, then this would be something
that clearly should not be taken lightly. With the knowledge that this gang has a local presence, precautions should already have been in
place. If they're not already doing so, the administration needs to be clear with the borough police that continual pressure needs to be
applied to this group. We might not be so fortunate with the next
    incident.

Bloods members don't just randomly show up to random parties in the basement of Wilson. They are invited. I wonder who would invite them???

Don't start on the invited front. The first BlackBox was well advertised, Daily Prince had written an article about how it got over 1000 people. There were many prefrosh who came to the first one who live in the Princetin area. The prefrosh go back to their high schools and talk about the party. People start talking and word spreads about this party. In the high schools around the area, you know you have people who are gang-affiliated so don't start thinking they were personally invited.

Between this crew of Bloods and the MS-13 drug dealing set in town, does anyone still doubt the need to arm Public Safety officers? In this case we have PUPS officers chasing down violent criminals affiliated with one of the most feared gangs in the United States on foot with nothing more than nightsticks. It's an outrage.

Right, because I'm sure blood members take time at their breakfast table and peruse through a copy of the Daily Princetonian... The administration and Borough Police need to crack down on gang activity in Princeton. The Borough Police, especially, have to get their priorities straightened: hmm harmless Princeton students who sometimes like to have a couple beers on the Street, or armed and dangerous members of one of America's most notorious gangs?

We have a police department who can protect and crack down on gangs. You just choose not to arm them. A cop without a gun stands no chance against a blood member. God help us all.
