I have to disagree. I thought Leatherheads was a delightful off-campus escape. It was a cute '20s based film with slapstick humor that made the film into an adult cartoon. And come on, with a line like "You're only as old as the women you feel," how can you not come out laughing?
I did think Renee was a bit of an odd choice, but there you are. Clooney was great. Boo this article for taking itself and film too seriously. It's Springtime, for Pete's sake. Breathe.
