    This article is just an excuse to bring up a point which has been bleated on these pages for years. And it is so one-sided...what about the pressure men face not to cry or act weak, etc? You are complaining about female stereotypes ("ditzy blondes," etc.), but then you dismiss out of hand the stereotypes of "frat-boys," because they choose to join an organization. Well, people who are seen as attractive choose to put on make-up, just as people in frats choose to join them.

    what would be refreshing would be a cindy hong column backed up by some sort of evidence instead of broad pronouncements which sound nice but, when you look closely, aren't really true...
