    meh who cares?

Anonymous posting? Really? Could the Prince sink lower? As long as I am anonymous at least I am safe from hate mail, letter bombs, and/or anthrax from the famous Michael Scharf class of *(I don't really care). Frankly, I think that this is pretty funny actually. Why on earth would anyone want to be the president of an eating club when they are so widely known to be bastions of elitism and anti-academic spirit. More immediately, why would anyone want to do this when the odds of being arrested for something you're obviously guilty of are so high. Princetonians, raise your hand if you honestly think that the underage can't drink here. Okay, I thought so. Rocco ( I can only pray that it is actually pronounced Rock-o) sounds like the man though, so we'll see...

Let's add this one to the dictionary: "President" [of an eating club]: designated scapegoat. Keep this in mind if you think it's an honor to be named to this position.

Finally, one of the club presidents has the balls to challenge the ridiculous transfer of responsibility that the Borough's been imposing on clubs. Eating clubs are the heart of this university due to their independence, but because of it, the university administration refuses to stand up for them against the Borough's vendetta of intimidation, which takes place without any respect for the countless precautions taken by clubs to make them a safe environment. Under the borough's logic, the only way to absolve oneself of legal responsibility would be to deny entry to anyone underage, which fundamentally attacks the notion of inclusiveness that the university is trying to promote.

The Prince couldn't dig up the names of the two "junior females?" Typical amateur Prince reporting...

ok i'm tired of people bashing the prince for "amateur reporting." (this time in regards to not being able to provide the names of the girls). if you want a tabloid, check out ivygate- the inclusion of names would really have contributed very little to this story (and if you're hung up on this, then you've entirely missed the point of the article).

    Guess Who?

To "Meh Who Cares?"- Your comments regarding "hate mail, letter bombs, and/or anthrax from the famous Michael Scharf" are clearly libelous. Do you really think you have anonymity? If I sue "Meh Who Cares" and serve subpoenas to the university and The Prince, your identity would be learned with relative ease. I bet that your smugness and arrogance would disappear once you were on the witness stand in a courtroom. Guess who?

"Meh" got one thing right... presidents of clubs are responsible for serving underage students. It's not that I think the borough should be going after them so aggressively... but the club presidents should (and I think they probably do) know what they're signing up for. It's a risk most of us are unwilling to take.
