Yesterday,August 13 2008, I drove past a large cairn near Newtown, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. For some reason I stopped and returned to see what it was commemorating. It was there that I first saw 'The Sons Of Martha' 1930-31 inscribed in full. Curious, I looked on the 'net' to find more. It is a powerful script, and why it was there I can hardly guess. Your article certainly hits the nail on the head, a little appreciation would go a long way in this present world. Thanks!
