To a lesser extent I know what you mean. I haven't attended college yet but I can't help but worry if I'll be able to go to a competitive college in the future. My parents can't afford to send me to college without scholarships or grants so I'm trying to qualify for several now to help in the future. It's not fair that I could be rejected based on my skin but other kids could be accepted if they put a check mark in the little box that says "African-American"
