Saw a production of this show at Miners Alley Playhouse in Golden,
Colorado and it was spectacular! Fun, and bawdy, I thought before I
went that two women playing men would not work. Boy was I wrong.
Within minutes of the shows opening, I believed the two were "Matt and
Ben". Expressions, speaking, cadence, everything exuded Affleck and
Damon. It was a romp and the one-liners just kept coming. Spectacular
performances by two local actresses kept the entire show top-knotch.
Fun, and entertaining, however, leave the kids at home because there are
several "F" bombs which I am sure are accurate in the way Matt and Ben
would speak to each other. Five Stars for Matt and Ben.
Didn’t like it, jokes flat, characters not interesting (even though it was Damon and Affleck). Just a vindictive charade fueled by jealousy - Most of the people who laughed were a bunch of northeast brats ashamed of their trust funds.
